William Hunts

The four vampires walked the road, to the crowded city square. William stopped short suddenly as he became aware of a new sound. He tried to track it but it seemed to be coming from every direction at once. He briefly considered ignoring it, but didn't seem to be able to do that. It was as if the sound was demanding his attention.

"What’s wrong?" Drusilla asked when William stopped moving. "Don’t stop, I’m hungry!" She pulled at his hand, but couldn’t get him to move. "WIIIILLIIIIAAAM!" she whined.

Angelus and Darla turned at Drusilla's outburst. William was standing still, a confused look on his face, completely ignoring Drusilla. As a result, Dru was about to throw a temper tantrum. And that was precisely *not* what they needed in order to remain inconspicious.

Darla took charge of the girl, so Angelus could focus on teaching his newest childe. "Hush, Dru," she hissed, taking her chin in one hand. "Melt into the crowd, Dearest, remember?" she said.

Drusilla nodded, "Sorry, Grand-mummy, but I’m so hungry."

Darla released Dru. "I know you are, Drusilla. We’re going hunting, Childe, just don’t attract any more attention."

Angelus meanwhile moved over to William. He thought he knew what had William so confused. He remembered his first hunt, all the sounds and smells were overwhelming to a young fledgling. "Will," Angelus walked in front of the younger man, meeting his eyes. "Talk to me."

"What is that sound?" William asked him curiously.

Angelus smiled. "Thump-thump... Thump-thump?"

William nodded eagerly. "Yes! It’s everywhere!"

"Heartbeats," Angelus replied. "Your blood-lust is trying to help you find your prey, Will. Let’s walk. When you see someone that strikes your fancy, just let me know. I’ll show you what to do." William nodded. Angelus then turned to Darla and Drusilla. "Everything under control, Love?" he asked Darla.

"I think so, Darling. Come Dru," Darla said to the girl.

Drusilla’s eyes went dreamy, then, and she said, "The stars are speaking...."

Angelus sighed, grabbing his female childe around the waist, then practically carrying her to the nearest alley. If Dru was about to have a vision, she would *not* be inconspicuous about it. He got her into the alley just in time, as her knees gave out. Angelus grabbed her before she collapsed, pressing her face against his chest, muffling her scream of pain.

William and Darla had followed them and Will rushed over, worried. "What’s wrong with ‘er?"

"She’ll be okay," Angelus answered. Dru finally began to quiet, her screams turning to whimpers against his chest. "She’s a seer, Will, with the ability to see future events. Sometimes the visions cause her a little pain."

William nodded, even though he was still worried about the girl.

She went still finally, looking up at Angelus. "Fire and screaming. Everything burning. So much pain," she whispered, tearfully.

Angelus sighed. He’d come to decide the visions just weren’t worth it; Drusilla could never relay them properly. "Where, Dru?"

Drusilla smiled, "The oak tree fell down, the birds were sad."

"Drusilla," Angelus growled, grabbing her chin and lifting her head to meet her eyes. "Answer my question!"

She just looked at him blankly.

"Where. Was. The. Fire?!" Angelus repeated, trying to keep his temper, though he was too hungry for this irritation.

"MISS EDITH!" Drusilla screamed.

Angelus clamped his hand over her mouth, forcefully, with a growl of anger. He held Drusilla against him as she struggled to get away. He looked to Darla worriedly, knowing if the girl's outburst meant their home was going to be attacked, it wouldn’t be safe to go back there later.

Darla nodded, knowing his thoughts without him needing to voice them. "You don’t *know* her vision is about tonight, or even about our London home," she pointed out.

"You’re right," Angelus grunted, still trying to hold Drusilla. "Drusilla," he growled into her ear, "Do you want me to give you a whipping you’ll never forget?"

She started fighting harder at that, to Angelus’ dismay. He often forgot how strong she could be, and he had the disadvantage of not having fed yet. Otherwise he’d have overpowered her easily. Just his luck, though, he’d soon have a raving, mad vampiress running the streets of London.

William saw the panic in Drusilla’s eyes, and his heart sank as he understood the reason for her violent reaction. As much as she obviously adored their sire, she feared him more. And apparently he’d given her reason to be afraid. "Sire, can I try?" he pleaded with Angelus.

"Go to it, Boy," Angelus muttered. "I think she’s completely gone, though. Sometimes she’s like this for days, and the only remedy is to keep her chained up till she’s at least listening to us again."

Drusilla fought even harder after that and William knew then his assumptions were right. Angelus was threatening her to try to control her, but getting the opposite result. She was panicking because of Angelus’ threats. Will was sure he could get through to her. "Drusilla," he said calmly, trying to catch her gaze. He succeeded, and tried to look as reassuringly as possible. "If you don’t want to be punished, just calm down. Stop fighting, stop yelling, stay still. Angelus just wants to know what you saw or heard just now. Come on, Luv. Calm down. For me?"

Drusilla looked searchingly into his eyes, but apparently what she saw convinced her he was being sincere. She stopped fighting Angelus immediately.

Angelus was impressed. Drusilla was obviously quite taken with the boy, something Angelus was very grateful for at the moment. He slowly removed his hand from Dru’s mouth, relieved when she didn’t scream. He released her then, ready to spring after her though if she ran. To his surprise she didn’t, but instead rushed to Will’s side. She wrapped her arms around Will’s waist, hugging him tightly.

"I had a younger sister," Will said to the older vampires by way of explanation.

Angelus nodded. Apparently Will had been fonder of his younger sister than Angelus had been of his own. "Whatever the reason, thank you, Boy. You saved us all from a hell of a lot of trouble. Now, Drusilla, you saw our house on fire?"

Drusilla nodded, and looked up at Angelus fearfully.

"Which house, Drusilla?" Darla asked, but then realized she already knew the answer. The secret to Drusilla was not to dismiss her insane ravings as just that. Usually there was little bit of useful information in all she said. The key was extracting the information from the ravings. "The oak tree. Our house in Paris?"

Darla thought for a moment, then nodded. "Fire on the water."

Angelus looked at his sire, knowing she’d be upset by this news. Their townhouse in Paris was near a river, and there was a huge oak tree out front. Darla adored that home, more than any of their others. She turned away from him, but he saw the tears in her eyes. He walked over to her, turning her to face him. "If it hasn’t happened yet, that means we can stop it," he said. He took her face in his hands and brushed the tears from her cheeks gently.

She nodded and buried her face in his shirt. "I hope you’re right."

"Were we there, Dru?" Angelus asked, turning himself and Darla so he could look at his childer.

Drusilla nodded, and said, "They wanted to build a fire and wouldn’t listen to reason. They chased us home and then everything was burning. The stars and daisies cried."

Angelus thought for a moment. Fire… Most likely humans carrying torches. It wouldn’t be the first time they’d attracted the attention of superstitious mortals. That meant one of them was careless enough to draw attention to what they were. He looked down at Darla, lifting her chin to meet his eyes. "Well, Love, we have two choices. We can go to Paris anyway, and take our chances. Since we’re expecting it, we’ll be more careful when hunting. Or, we can go somewhere else."

Darla sighed, "I don’t know, Darling. Let’s just think about it for a day or so, all right?"

"Fine," Angelus replied. He kissed her gently, before saying, "Now, I am in definite need of a fresh young thing for dinner. Help me show William how it’s done?" he asked with a grin.

"Mmmm," Darla smiled at him. "What are you in the mood for?"

"Let’s just see what the city has to offer, shall we?" Angelus replied. Darla nodded, and they walked out into the city square, arm in arm. William and Drusilla followed them silently. Drusilla was still clinging to William, but William didn’t mind in the least. He was finding himself growing quite fond of the girl.

Angelus turned back to William. "Well?" he asked quietly. "I think we’ll get you fed first, Boy. You need it the most of all of us."

William looked around, for a moment, there were so many people about. Then he saw her. "Cecily," he whispered. She was walking down the street in front of them, with her current admirer. William didn’t remember the man’s name, he was just one of many who’d laughed at Will’s heartfelt poetry. He growled in anger, surprising himself as well as the others.

Angelus chuckled at the boy's startled expression. He then saw the young couple who’d gotten William’s attention, and said, "I think we have our first kill of the night, then. Come, Will." He parted from Darla, with a quick questioning look. She nodded, moving to take Drusilla’s arm as William walked beside Angelus. They followed the couple for two blocks, before the two ducked into an alleyway.

Angelus laughed, "Oh, they’re making this far too easy." He looked at William, and asked, "You want the girl? Or the young man?"

"The girl," William answered quickly. "Cecily," he muttered.

Angelus smiled. "Whatever she did to anger you, Will, we’ll make her sorry," he promised. They neared the alley and Angelus motioned for William to stop. "Give me ten seconds, then follow. I think you’re smart enough to pick up on the game."

William nodded, and Angelus ran into the alley.

Darla chuckled, "Angelus LOVES this part."

"HEY!" They heard a male voice yell.

"STOP! DON’T HURT HIM! NOOOOO!" was what they heard next, from a female.

"Five, four, three, two, one," Darla said, then motioned to Will. "Your turn."

William walked into the alley, seeing the man and Angelus fighting, though the young man was getting the worst of the beating. Angelus was straddling him, punching his face repeatedly, while easily blocking any punches the man threw. Cecily was staring at them, yelling.

"WILLIAM!" Cecily saw Will and ran over to him. He put his arms around her comfortingly. "Do something!" she pleaded.

He looked down at her frightened eyes. It was then he heard her heartbeat and caught the scent that was uniquely her. "Why?" he replied.

"Wha--" Cecily looked at him confusedly. "HE’S GOING TO KILL AARON! HELP HIM!" she demanded.

"No," he said with a grin. "HEY!" he yelled as she kicked him in the shin and attempted to run. Before he could follow her, though, Darla appeared in her path.

"Don’t go so soon, Child," Darla said with a smile.

Drusilla appeared next to her, saying, "That’s right, Dearie. Our William wants to play with you. It would be rude to leave and spoil his fun."

Cecily tried to run, but Darla grabbed her around the waist, dragging her back into the alley. She opened her mouth to scream, but Drusilla flashed a dagger in front of her face. "I’d hate to have to carve your pretty face up, but maybe I can make it prettier?" Dru offered. Cecily shut her mouth, whimpering.

William walked over to them, and Darla handed Cecily over. He grabbed her from behind, wrapping his arms around her waist, pinning her arms at her sides. Drusilla stayed with them, keeping Cecily silent by showing her the knife. "She’s pretty," Dru said. "Did you ever have her?"

"No," William replied. "But it’s no big loss. She’s not half as pretty as you, Pet."

Drusilla grinned, "I like having you as a brother."

"Brother?" Cecily squeaked. "She’s not your sister, William. I’ve met your family--"

"Shut up," William replied angrily. Cecily shut her mouth again quickly, completely bewildered by William’s behavior.

Angelus then dragged the young man to his feet and leaned him back against the wall. William turned Cecily so she could see as Angelus sunk his fangs into the young man’s neck. The boy tried to yell but it only came out as a gurgle. Cecily whimpered and William growled, "Stay quiet or I’ll let Drusilla cut your throat." He realized then that the other intoxicating smell which he’d been trying to place was fear. He only wished he could see her face, it would make the night so much more enjoyable.

"Care to share, Darling?" Darla walked over to Angelus.

Angelus withdrew his fangs, and looked over at his sire. "I’ve had better, Love. But I know you’re hungry, so go right ahead." He grabbed the young man, and held him against his chest, facing Darla. Darla slipped into gameface and sunk her fangs into the mortal’s neck with a moan of satisfaction. Angelus snarled and sunk his teeth into the other side of the throat and together they drained the boy.

"Ohgodohgodohgodohgod," Cecily chanted, slumping limply against Will’s chest. She knew she was doomed, there was no escape.

William ignored her, completely entranced by the sight of his sire and his sire’s sire feeding off the mortal boy. He’d been frightened as a mortal of Angelus in his true face, but now it was different. This beautiful creature was HIS sire, and he felt undeniably connected to him. Darla was incredibly beautiful and sensual, too, They were a perfect match; William saw that now. The sight of the two of them feeding like that was so erotic, Will found himself growing aroused as he watched.

Finally, the young man was drained, and both vampires released him simultaneously, letting him fall to the ground. Darla licked her lips and looked up at her boy. Both were still in gameface and they stared at each other a moment silently, panting from the the rush of the feed. Then, Darla jumped Angelus. She wrapped her arms around his neck and legs around his hips. They kissed passionately, both moaned in unison. Angelus fell back against the wall, then cupped Darla’s rear with his hands, holding her to him.

Darla cut her tongue on his fangs, and Angelus groaned as he got a taste of her blood. Darla pulled away, then. "Damn it, I hate these skirts," she gasped. "I wish you were inside me, Love."

"EEEWWW!" Cecily yelled then, coming to life again. William clamped his hand over her mouth quickly.

Darla sighed, but knew the interruption was a good thing. Now was definitely not the time. "We’ll have to finish this later," she said. She kissed Angelus softly as she let her face melt back to her human features.

He frowned but nodded, doing the same as he lowered her to the ground slowly. He groaned as she slid down his body. He looked to Will, and grinned. The boy’s eyes told him what Angelus couldn’t see otherwise. William was completely aroused by what he’d seen. "You haven’t fed, Boy," he pointed out.

"I wanted her to see my face," William replied. "Then I saw you two, and ..." he shrugged and looked away shyly.

Angelus chuckled. "Is it me you want, Will? Or perhaps Darla?" He walked closer to the young vampire, circling him. From behind William, he looked over at Darla. She didn’t appear angry, so he decided to press his luck further. "Or maybe both of us?" he asked with a wink at Darla.

"Bloody hell," Will groaned. *All three of us?* Just the thought made him harder than he’d ever been. Both Angelus and Darla laughed at his response.

Angelus pressed himself against his boy, as he caught a fresh wave of arousal from him. He looked over at Darla as he realized part of that was coming from her as well. *She’s turned on by the prospect too?* He grinned over at her. "What do you say, My Love?" he asked her.

Darla had grown aroused by the idea and knew Angelus could sense it. She’d never allowed anyone else in their bed with them before. But, so far, William seemed to be quite a good choice as a childe of Angelus. He had proven quite obedient, very eager to make Angelus happy. And, he’d not treated Darla poorly. Besides, he was a very good-looking boy, Darla had to admit. Anyone could get lost in those piercing blue eyes. Darla then remembered how flawlessly beautiful his nude body was.

"Think about it," Angelus said with a smile, knowing she was doing just that. "Will’s otherwise occupied at the moment, anyway." He moved around Will, "Want me to take that for you?" he offered with a smile. Cecily whimpered louder, and he grabbed her by the arms as William let go and backed away slightly. Angelus turned her in his grasp. He put one arm around her waist, and grabbed her chin with the other hand, forcing her to look at his childe.

"Angelus?" he heard Darla’s voice.

"Yes, Love?"

"I’m going to take Drusilla to feed, Darling. I need more blood myself. Meet us back outside this alley in an hour."

"Whatever you say, Darla," he called over his shoulder. He heard the two women walking away and turned his attention back to William. "Go ahead, Will. You know you want her."

William looked down at Cecily, enjoying the scent of her fear.

"Please let me go," she begged. She still obviously didn’t understand he was one of them.

"See, Cecily," he said smoothly, walking up to her. "I don’t really want to do that. I’m trying to remember what I ever found attractive about you. Now that I know you’re not a virgin, I think you’re a waste of my time."

Cecily gasped at that. "I am too a vir….!" she trailed off as both men laughed at her.

"Don’t bother, Cecily," Will said. "It’s okay, I guess. Though I would’ve liked being your one and only, right before I killed you."

"I said, I AM a ..." She stopped as she realized what he’d said. She started struggling harder and sobbing. William stroked her face tenderly. " Don’t cry. It’ll be over...soon."

His face started to change but he didn’t understand what was happening. He tried to stop it, looking up at Angelus in confusion.

Angelus smiled at him. "Don’t fight it, Boy. The demon’s trying to come forward. Let it happen, Will, give into the bloodlust."

William took a deep breath and nodded. He felt his face changing and this time he didn’t fight it. He felt his fangs descend. He looked up at Angelus again, shyly. He’d already noticed he couldn’t see his reflection, he wondered if he looked horribly ugly. The lustful look in Angelus’ eyes answered his question, however, and their eyes locked for a moment. He tore his eyes away regretfully, he needed to feed first.

He then looked back at Cecily. "Now do you get it, Cecily? You claimed I was beneath you, Pet. I almost believed you. But now I know I’m so much better than you. I’m going to live forever Luv, but you…. Well you’re just dinner," he added with a smile. He bent and sunk his fangs into her throat then. She tried to cry out but Angelus’ hand over her mouth muffled the sound.

When the first taste of her, Will moaned appreciatively, gripping her arms tightly. Angelus had been right, it was heavenly. Better than the best vodka, the most expensive wine.... There was nothing to compare it with, really. He drank the blood slowly, savoring every drop. He heard Cecily’s heart beating, quickly, at first, and then slower as her whimpers ceased. And then there was nothing left.

Will withdrew his fangs from the girl’s throat and looked up at Angelus.

Angelus smiled at him. "She’s dead, Will. Revenge is sweet, isn’t it?" he asked.

Will looked down at Cecily, nodding. He felt no remorse at all over the fact he’d just ended her life. It had been a wasted life, anyway. He released his hold on her, and watched her fall to the ground. He looked back up at Angelus, and let his human features slip back into place, noting Angelus had done the same. He was struck by the urge to kiss his sire, but he resisted it. He knew somehow the first move had to be Angelus’.

Angelus growled, his childe’s arousal thick in the air. He was consumed with desire himself, William made as beautiful a vampire as he had a mortal. He grabbed William’s face and kissed him possessively. He thrust his tongue inside the other’s mouth to explore it thoroughly. William moaned and wrapped his arms around Angelus’ waist, as his knees gave out. The kiss seemed to last for days as William discovered one of the joys of not needing to breathe. When Angelus finally pulled away, William felt dizzy and clung to the other man for a moment, to get his bearings.

"I need to feed again," Angelus said, "and I’m sure you could use more blood yourself. We’ll all need to be well-fed for later," he wiggled his eyebrows suggestively. He chuckled when William whimpered. "You never did answer my question, Will. Do you fancy the thought of ending this evening in bed with myself and my sire?"

William stared at him wordlessly. He wondered again if he was still able to blush. "What d’you think," he finally managed to say with a raised eyebrow.

Angelus laughed. "Well, considering I can feel the answer pressing against my hip, I’ll assume a yes," he said. He smiled as William lowered his eyes again in embarrassment. He put his arm around the smaller man’s shoulders, and added, "Come on then, let’s find another couple young mortals to drain." He and William walked back into the crowded city streets, then, to find their next victims.
